She was all I had ever known. All the mysteries I had tried to dig, unsuccessfully. Her face, craterized by bruises and well-defined, was the one I had seen reflected on the moon so many times.
That overwhelming, frantic urge of digging more, teeth sinking into the flesh, softly, flavouring the unknown, eavesdropping the sweetest song, breathing in mesmerizing scents, of feeling took over me.
She was everything. She was everywhere.
Could those inviting blue waters conceal a monster? Could anything be more dreadfully fascinating?
I had only seen one side. Silver moon was still sparkling, looking down on us. No way to hide, Her gaze could pierce through walls, Her touch could revive the dead. Or kill the luckiest traveler.
Well, I planned to stay.
